SeedSow — Terms of Use

Updated July 2026

SeedSow is licensed, not sold, under Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement. That agreement is the one that governs your use of the app, and it is available in full at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. This page is a plain-English summary of the parts people actually ask about.

What SeedSow is

SeedSow is a sowing calendar and kitchen-garden tracker. It works entirely on your device, with no account and no internet connection.

Growing dates are guidance, not a guarantee

Sowing windows are based on typical frost dates for the region you pick, and real weather varies. Frost can land a couple of weeks either side of the average, and your own garden's aspect, soil and shelter matter as much as the calendar. Treat every date in SeedSow as a starting point and adjust it to what you can see outside. You can set your own frost dates at any time in Settings.

SeedSow Pro

SeedSow Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, available monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period. You can manage or cancel it any time in your Apple Account settings. There is no free trial.

Pro is tied to your Apple ID, not to an account with us, so Restore Purchases brings it back on a new device or after reinstalling.

Your data

Everything you create stays on your device. We have no server and we cannot see, recover or restore your garden. Deleting the app deletes your data with it, and Settings has a Delete everything option if you want to clear it without removing the app. See the Privacy Policy.

Fair use

Please do not attempt to decompile, resell or redistribute the app or its crop data.

No warranty

SeedSow is provided as is. It is a gardening planner, not agricultural, horticultural, medical or safety advice. Nothing in the app should be relied on to decide whether a plant is safe to eat. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost crops, missed sowings or any other loss arising from using the app.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the app changes. The date at the top shows when they last did.
